Jacksonville Lean Consortium — May 29 Lean Leader Meeting
Most facility tours show you the production floor and call it a day. Worth Stairs & Rails will show you more.
Worth Stairs & Rails calls it their “Lean Experiment” — and it’s running through the whole building. Continuous improvement isn’t confined to the shop floor; it shows up in the offices, in how their information systems move work between teams, and in a few places you’d never expect. They’re opening the doors to their “Progress Lab” to show you the whole thing — what’s clicked, what they’ve learned along the way, and what they’re still refining.
Bring a couple of your team members. Bring the problem that’s been bugging you for six months. We’ll spend three hours digging into it with you.
Worth Stairs & Rails (also known as Worth Metals, Inc.) is a family-owned metal fabrication company in Green Cove Springs, specializing in custom metal stairs and railings for commercial and monumental projects — including the Mayo Clinic and PGA Tour Headquarters.
In 2025, they earned the AIA Jacksonville Craftsmanship Award for their work on the KLS Martin project — a fellow Lean Jax member!
